Beyond the ravages of health and the numerous victims, the epidemic of coronavirus endangers food security. Three multilateral institutions launched the alert Wednesday on the risk of " food shortage ": the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Organization World Trade Organization (WTO). It is rare enough to be emphasized, the three leaders sign a joint press release. As a result of the globalization of recent decades, "millions of people around the world depend on international trade for their food security and their livelihoods ", write in the preamble the Chinese Qu Dongyu (FAO), the Ethiopian, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (WHO) and the Brazilian Roberto Azevedo (WTO).
