The Coral Princess, a cruise ship with 12 diagnosed coronavirus cases on board, is currently sailing to the port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shipping company Princess Cruises told AFP on Thursday.
So far, 12 positive cases of coronavirus have been detected (seven passengers and five crew members), out of 13 tests carried out. A total of 1,898 people are on the Coral Princess, which is due to dock in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, according to Princess Cruises.
Another cruise ship with cases of coronavirus on board, the Zaandam, for its part docked in the port of Fort Lauderdale on Thursday after being rejected by several ports in Latin America.
