The Public Information Department of the Islamic Shura Council in Iran announced that Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani had contracted the Corona virus.

A statement issued today by the media circle, according to what the Iranian news agency "IRNA" reported, stated that "the result of the medical examination that the speaker underwent to determine his infection with the virus was positive," adding ... The Islamic Shura Council has undergone Larijani after seeing some symptoms of a medical examination that showed his infection with the virus and entered a quarantine for treatment.

A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Kyanosh Jahanpur, announced earlier today that during the past 24 hours, 2875 new cases were recorded, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus in the country to 50468 cases, indicating that the number of dead people reached 3160 people and that the number of people recovering 16,711 people.
