Steffenberg / L3049 - According to the police, a fatal traffic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon on the L3049 in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. A motorcyclist died between Niedereisenhausen and Quotshausen.
A 71-year-old was traveling towards Quotshausen around 1:20 p.m. with his tractor and trailer. Behind the team was a 59-year-old motorcyclist with his Yamaha. According to previous knowledge, when the motorcycle driver overtook, there was a collision with the tractor, which turned left in a dirt road.

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries in the serious accident. The driver of the tractor was not injured.
For the final clarification of the accident, the Marburg public prosecutor ordered an expert to be consulted and the motorcycle to be secured. The accident site was completely closed for the necessary investigative measures as well as for recovery and cleaning work until 4.35 p.m.
