The announcement of any US state as a disaster area stipulates that the state authorities can use the federal funds to finance measures to face the challenges facing it.
Earlier, Trump endorsed similar announcements in 29 states over the spread of the Corona virus in the United States.
On the other hand, the US Navy ordered the evacuation of thousands of sailors from the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier on Guam Island after warning its captain that a corona outbreak on board was threatening the life of the crew.
