Today, the National Health Commission of Shanghai Municipal Corporation announced the registration of four new confirmed infections from the Coronavirus from abroad.
A source in the committee said, according to Xinhua news agency, that the total number of infected cases in Shanghai reached 187, indicating that the patients were sent to the hospitals designated for treatment and put a total of 23 people who were in close contact with the flights under medical supervision.
Of these cases, 16 people were discharged from hospitals, and 171 remained, according to the committee, which said "one of them is still in a serious condition" in addition to 13 suspected cases coming from abroad.
The committee did not mention the registration of new local cases yesterday, leaving the total confirmed local cases in the city at 339, while 327 patients left hospital after recovery, and six people died and six are still receiving treatment.
This brings the total number of HIV infections in China so far to 81,620 and 3322 deaths.
