This year, 70 years of church planting and 50 years of city survey are celebrated in Geretsried. For this reason, old photos are searched.
Geretsried - Camp fire, city survey, construction of schools and sports facilities, redesign of Karl-Lederer-Platz: A lot has happened in Geretsried in the past seven decades. From the small community that grew up on the ruins of two armaments factories, a proud city with around 26,000 inhabitants has developed.
This year, 70 years of church planting and 50 years of city surveys are celebrated. For this reason, we ask you, dear reader, to browse through your photo albums. We are looking for pictures from the 1950s and 1970s that show you and your loved ones in Geretsried - for example during Easter ratcheting (photo), at the Geretsried summer festival or in front of the fountain on Karl-Lederer-Platz. We want to publish a selection of these historical pictures in the next few weeks in Geretsrieder Merkur / Isar-Loisachboten and on the Internet.
