An earthquake occurred this evening off the Syrian coast, which was felt by the residents of Latakia, Tartous, Hama, and Homs.

The National Seismic Monitoring Center reported that a moderate earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred off the Syrian coast, 65 km from the city of Latakia.
