Update from Friday, April 3, 2020, 7:35 p.m .: The police have now released new details about the events surrounding the three deaths that were found in Hattersheim on Friday.
Accordingly, witnesses heard "gun-like noises" at 2:15 p.m. in Ankerstrasse in Hattersheim. Shortly thereafter, the witnesses found a 51-year-old from Frankfurt in the entrance of a company building. The summoned emergency doctor could only determine the man's death.
Three dead: Background of the crime in Hattersheim is determined
When police forces searched the building, they found the lifeless body of a 44-year-old from Eddersheim. He had also been shot.
Shortly afterwards, another witness found a dead 57-year-old at the Eddersheim lock. The police currently assume that this man killed the other two and then killed himself.
