Fürstenfeldbruck - At spring-like temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees - felt even warmer in the sun - it drove many people outdoors at the weekend. The exciting question is: do people adhere to the restrictions due to the corona pandemic? The answer: In most cases, yes, but there are still a few unreasonable ones.

The Olchinger See was a popular destination for walkers. Most of them followed the guidelines, went for walks, kept their distance and only took short breaks to relax on the benches around the lake. A few, however, ignored the restrictions and basked on a jetty.

A spokesman for the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria said: "This is clearly not allowed." The focus of all outdoor activities is always on sports. Easy walking is expressly included here. "Lingering longer, as is the case when sunbathing on a jetty, is prohibited," said the police spokesman. However, such incidents are relatively rare. "Most of them behave reasonably and adhere to the restrictions."

So also at Germeringer See. There was a lot going on on Sunday on the hiking trails around the lake. The walkers, cyclists and joggers mostly kept to the minimum distance. Everything also went according to the regulations on the lakeshore: people strolled along the water, paused for a moment and paid attention to the necessary distance from their fellow human beings.

Especially the cyclists drove it out in the beautiful weather. Popular routes such as from Grafrath towards Etterschlag (district of Starnberg) were heavily used. But here too, the day trippers apparently adhered to the requirements in large parts and were only on the road with people from their home environment.

Most people apparently also accept the current blockage of leisure facilities. The Emmeringer See was completely deserted in the early Sunday afternoon. However, at the same time a few cyclists were taking a break at the lake of the recently closed Mammendorf amusement park.

In such cases, the police sometimes leave five, as the Presidium spokesman explains: "If someone obviously takes a short break, we will certainly not make a breakdown."

The beginning of spring also attracted many people to the ice cream parlors in the district. Long queues could be observed in the ice cream parlors in Olching, Emmering and Fürstenfeldbruck, among others. However, the people standing in line after ice also made sure to keep a sufficient distance from the person in front.

The town centers, however, gave very different pictures. While on Sunday Eichenauer Hauptstrasse seemed at times extinct and only a handful of walkers were out, there was a lot more going on in neighboring Olching and Fürstenfeldbruck. But even where the streets were full, people largely followed the rules of conduct. ANDREAS DASCHNER
