Around 60 hardworking fellow citizens from Hebertshausen are now sewing protective masks for their fellow human beings in the community.
The masks are also distributed to doctors, hospitals, nurses and geriatric nurses as far as they are needed.
Visors are also made. That is what Wolfram Ostermeir does with his 3D printer. He creates around 100 visors per day, which are also intended for the general public.
Mayor Richard Reischl is of course delighted with the great response from the "Protective Masks and Visors" campaign: "I am very proud of the Hebertshausers who are doing their best," he says. Of course, he also diligently distributes fabrics and the associated materials when the seamstresses come to the town hall to get supplies.
The mayor has a big goal in mind. In addition to the hospitals, all citizens of Hebertshausen should also be equipped with respiratory masks and visors. A big challenge, but Richard Reischl firmly believes that there are still people who can sew and that daily production will continue to increase.
The distribution of risk persons with previous illnesses as well as persons from the age of 60 upwards begins on Monday, April 6, from 8 a.m. in the town hall. Otherwise, it is issued daily from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
If you want to have respirators and / or visors, you should come to the back of the building. There the masks and visors can be accepted via an open window. Klaus Rabl
