Altenerding - Bastian Biermeier (8) from Altenerding uses the long weeks without school very creatively to muck out his toys. "The idea came more from mom," he admits, but after the first sales at the private flea market, he is very enthusiastic.

Bastian has enough space in the parking lot of the family-owned Pension Sperlhof on Parkstrasse to expand his offers. In addition to books and games, he also sells sand toys such as excavators and trucks, a large car garage, but also a FC Bayern backpack and much more.

Contactless street sales

Trading is not possible because there is no contact between buyer and seller. You can also look for prices in vain, because Bastian sells on a trust basis: "Everyone should give as much as they want," says an information sheet. The Biermeier mailbox, which Bastian checks several times a day, serves as a purse.

If there is enough money, the eight-year-old wants to buy a new game for Nintendo Switch. So far, Bastian has been completely satisfied with his earnings. “I can also put out more toys because I don't need them anymore. I tend to play ice hockey and guitar now, ”he explains. Bastian is looking forward to when school starts again and he can meet his friends from the third grade of elementary school on Ludwig-Simmet-Anger again.
