A very special art project is growing at Echinger See: you want to defy the crisis with brightly painted stones.
Eching - While a great collective effort is necessary to slow down the spread of the coronavirus, good ideas are spreading in no time at all about how color and variety can be brought into everyday life during this time. A particularly colorful campaign against boredom, a creative and easy-to-implement activity that can also be used to demonstrate common sense, is to lay out a trail of stones that you have painted yourself outdoors. Thanks to the "Child in Focus" association, this idea has also arrived in Eching. A start was made at the weekend.
Paint the pebbles and lay them out on Lake Echingen
It is fun, it turns out, to turn pebbles into personal lucky or health stones, Easter eggs, beetles or colorful unique specimens - and then to watch stone by stone grow an ever longer serpent. The Gesamtkunstwerk is located on the edge of the path in the leisure area, at the Blue Bridge on Lake Echingen. Above all, many parents were enthusiastic about creating something beautiful on the one hand with the children at home - and then “exhibiting” their own work outside. The stone project was and is eagerly shared on Facebook and develops its own dynamic.
