The mayor of Nantes, Joanna Rolland, announced Tuesday evening that she had decided to extend her confinement period "until further notice, in accordance with the principle of sanitary precaution".

The mayor PS "continues to direct the city and the metropolis as it has been doing for two weeks, in permanent contact with its teams, the state and the health authorities", according to a press release from the town hall.
Joanna Rolland "gathered today (Monday, Editor's note), as she does twice a week, representatives of the majority and opposition political groups to take stock. In particular, it informed them of its intention to convene a municipal council by videoconference, as the law allows, by the end of April, ”said the press release.
