Former Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi Doron is in Corona and was admitted to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. His condition is easily defined, but because he is suffering from various diseases he is at high risk. The 79-year-old rabbi was diagnosed yesterday after several members of his family also got the virus.

Rabbi Bakshi Doron was the Spanish Chief Rabbi from 1993 to 2003. Prior to that, in 1970 he was appointed to the neighborhoods of Ramat Hanassi and Ramat Yosef in Bat Yam.
