New York State recorded the largest daily death toll from the Coruna virus, with 731 new cases, while Johns Hopkins University announced today that the number of deaths in the United States due to the virus exceeded the threshold of 11 thousand cases.
The university stated in a report today that the number of people recovering reached 1,972 people, out of a total of injuries amounting to 368,533 cases.
Yesterday, the American authorities recorded 1150 new deaths from the Corona virus in the country within 24 hours, according to the university.
For his part, New York State Governor Andrew Como told a press conference today that the number of deaths caused by the corona virus emerging in the state during the past 24 hours increased by 731 cases to reach 5,489 deaths after it was at the level of 4758 cases yesterday.
This number represents the largest daily increase in the death toll from the disease in New York, which is the epicenter of the pandemic in the United States.
The United States is the first country in the world in terms of the number of reported cases of the epidemic, as it has been recording the death toll daily for more than a thousand cases, while New York is the epicenter of the epidemic.
