Summary :

It is in Italy, Spain and France that the epidemic has killed the most in Europe, the continent most affected by Covid-19. The three states were slow to react, for example by letting football matches be played in the framework of the Champions League. They confined their populations, a few days apart, but without consulting each other.

Despite solidarity operations, the members of the European Union have not so far managed the epidemic in a coordinated manner. "The climate between the heads of state and government and the lack of solidarity pose a deadly danger to the European Union", warned Jacques Delors, the former president of the Brussels Commission, on March 28.

Source code tells the crisis in these three countries, in three episodes, with Henri Vernet, of the political service of the Parisian, Henry de Laguérie, correspondent of the Parisian and Europe 1 in Spain, and Blandine Hugonnet, correspondent of the Parisian in Italy.
