US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he will suspend the U.S. contribution to the World Health Organization (WHO), speaking out against how it handled the coronavirus pandemic. "We will suspend (the payment) of funds intended for the WHO" , declared Donald Trump, without further details, during his daily press briefing.

The Republican billionaire wrote a particularly virulent tweet against the organization on Tuesday morning. "WHO has really crashed ," he wrote. “Strangely, they are largely funded by the United States and yet very focused on China. We are going to take a close look at the matter, ” he added.
