BEIJING - SANA The Chinese authorities lifted the closure procedures and travel restrictions imposed on the central city of Wuhan

The Chinese authorities lifted the closures and travel restrictions imposed on the central city of Wuhan, which is the first epicenter of the Corona epidemic.

With the cars lining up on highways and passengers ready to board trains to leave Wuhan, the mega city began to lift travel restrictions abroad after nearly 11 weeks of closure to prevent an outbreak of the new Coronavirus, the Chinese news agency said.

And China announced earlier today that it had not recorded any deaths caused by the Corona virus emerging on the Chinese mainland or a local infection as a result.

The total confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland amounted to 81,740 as of yesterday, including 1,242 patients still receiving treatment, and 77,167 patients who were discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 3,331 people died from the disease.
