"Antigone is right but Creon is not wrong." Camus' famous phrase concentrates all the moral complexity posed by the technique of tracing. On the intention, first - to finally free us from containment while preventing a new epidemic wave - everyone agrees. On the practical side, then, the government must be recognized for its declared concern for the protection of public freedoms. The use of the digital application will not be imposed; the data will be scrupulously protected from other commercial, political or security use; the tool, we are promised, will disappear from its beautiful death once we are out of this nightmare. One would have to be dangerously paranoid to think that the public authorities would take advantage of a pandemic to monitor citizens. The concern of the moment has only one purpose: to allow the population to leave their homes serenely. As a reminder, the tracing is the tip of a triangle. It is related to generalization
