The anti-drug branch in Damascus arrested four persons who are traffickers and promoting narcotic drugs within the city of Damascus.
The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement that Sana received a copy today that, based on the information received by the Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus about the presence of a person in the locality of industry in Damascus who is trading in narcotic substances, the aforementioned person was monitored and arrested and in possession of a quantity of drug cannabis, Captagon pills and a substance called "Crystal" Miss ”Shabu, which is one of the most dangerous types of drugs.
The Ministry indicated that after investigating the arrested person, he admitted that he promoted and sold this material at high prices, noting that the investigations are still ongoing and will be referred to the competent court in the first place.
The ministry pointed out that the drug control branch also arrested three people who promoted narcotic drugs in Al-Kabbas locality in Damascus, and they possessed four kilograms of hashish, indicating that investigations are still ongoing and they will be brought to the proper jurisdiction.
