Colombian doctor tells how the covid-19 2:52 feels

(CNN Spanish) - The mayor of Bogotá, in Colombia, announced this Wednesday a new order to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Between April 13 and 26 until 11:59 pm local time, the permission to circulate on the streets will depend on the gender of the person. According to the authorities, "on even days, only female people can be mobilized and on odd days, only male people can take to the streets."

This will be applied in the capital as an additional measure to the government's mandatory isolation plan that is in effect until April 26. On Monday, April 13, men can circulate and on Tuesday, 14, women. And so on until 26.

"Transgender people will be able to take to the streets according to their gender identity," explained the mayor's office. "The measure will not apply to those who must work in accordance with the exceptions in force, those who go to medical services, those who assist minors or over 70 years and those who go with pets to veterinary services."
