While the continuity of public service has been a major challenge since the start of the pandemic, particularly in the most remote areas of the territory, the gendarmerie is ramping up to ensure the protection of the La Poste network, by deploying specially staff dedicated.

Since Tuesday, as part of an operation called "Zeno", in reference to the patron of postmen and philatelists, no less than 375 men and women of the operational reserve have been assigned to the reinforced security of 41 offices in mainland France and 64 others overseas, identified in “sensitive sectors”.
