End of period: Jewish newspapers Joish Chronicle and Joish News are closing. The Jewish - veteran newspapers paid the economic price of the coronary virus outbreak. While the communications systems around the world are trying to make some cuts and adjustments in an attempt to survive the situation, the two were left with no choice when it became known that there was no money left in the systems.
In doing so, the two also joined the Canadian newspaper "Canadian News News" which a few days ago it was learned that it would cease to exist after six decades.
The Jewish Chronicle is the major newspaper of British Jewry in the last two centuries. Founded in London in 1841, it was the world's oldest Jewish newspaper. An expression of the role played by the newspaper was expressed, among other things, already with the coming of the precursors of Zionism - Moshe Hess, Rabbi Yehuda Hai Alkalay and other articles that wrote articles there. In addition, in 1896 Herzl's article "A solution to the Jewish problem" was published in the newspaper. Until recently, several tens of thousands of copies were published every Friday.
The Chronicle's announcement states that the disbandment is expected to be completed in two weeks - the next three.
