Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed his country's support for the United Nations efforts to cease fire in Yemen and the political solution to the crisis in this country.
And Zarif stressed during a telephone conversation with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, according to what IRNA reported that there is no military solution to the crisis in Yemen, and that reaching a permanent ceasefire is a prelude to starting the political process to solve this crisis.
For his part, Guterres made a presentation on the procedures and efforts of the United Nations Organization regarding the ceasefire in Yemen.
Zarif, during a phone call with Guterres, yesterday discussed the illegal, unilateral ban imposed by the United States on Iran.
