"The Masked Singer" 2020: Robot revealed - fans angry with the rate team

After a short break, "The Masked Singer" continued excitingly. In our live ticker for the fourth episode of the ProSieben show, you can read the notes, speculations and highlights again.

• After a two-week break, the ProSieben show "The Masked Singer" * returned last Tuesday.

Update from April 15, 9.45:  At yesterday's show of "The Masked Singer", many fans could not hide their disappointment after the robot was unveiled. However, some Twitter users were more upset that the advice team was considering that Helene Fischer could be under the robot mask . The rate jury even noted that a "trained singer" was hiding under the costume. A user writes, “Whoever really thought the robot was Helene Fischer really no longer has all the battens on the fence! Another made a similar statement and said, "But it's really an honor for Caroline Beil that they actually thought some were Helene Fischer".

Most users noticed that the singing was not professional enough, but not the rate jury, especially Comedian  Bülent Ceylan , who thought that he had recognized the pop singer and even committed himself to it in the end. He also repeated several times during the show that he knew Helene Fischer, which many Twitter users used as a template for further tweets. If only everyone were as attentive as the Twitter community.

"This is Elvis Presley," Bülent Ceylan jokes. Ruth Moschner guesses Dick Brave, the alter ego of singer Sasha . Rea Garvey knows Sasha well and therefore does not believe that it could be him. The Irishman could imagine singer Giovanni Zarella .

The answer is: "Somewhere only we know" by Keane and what does the jury say about this appearance? Ruth Moschner believes to have “cracked the code”. Her tip: Max Giesinger . Rea Garvey thanks for the great performance and is pretty sure: Gregor Meyle is the dragon. Bülent Ceylan agrees with the previous speaker and also taps Gregor Meyle.

9:00 p.m .: The first decision of the evening is imminent. Who will make a round. Bunny or robot? Rea Garvey believes the robot will progress, while the other two members of the rate team believe in the rabbit - and are supposed to be right. The rabbit is one round ahead. So we hear the robot a second time today.  

8:52 pm: While ProSieben is advertising, we take a look at Twitter. Tips are also given there diligently. A user suspects the German mother of punk behind the rabbit costume: Nina Hagen. Many other users also think of the singer. However, other users suspect the moderator Sonja Zietlow behind the fluffy costume. Maybe we'll hear another song from the rabbit today.

8:45 pm: The hare's appearance follows. He sings "Big Spender" by Shirley Bassey. To the enthusiasm of Rea Garvey, who probably found the performance very successful. Who is the jury guessing? Ruth Moschner thinks again of comedian Martina Hill . Bülent Ceylan goes in a different direction and taps on swimmer Franziska von Almsick . Has a candidate given away here? The suspicion falls on professional dancer Ekat Leonova , who became known to a broader television audience through the TV show  "Let's Dance" . The 32-year-old danced there with Gil Ofarim , who caused a stir last year as a grasshopper for "The Masked Singer". 

In a live video on Instagram, Ofarim felt his dance partner's teeth. "I heard you were supposed to be part of The Masked Singer," said the 37-year-old. "I don't know," replied the dancer, embarrassed, but Ofarim didn't give up and wanted to know from Leonova where she would be around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. "I'm in Cologne," replied the 32-year-old and then tried to cover up her answer with a laugh. Because  "The Masked Signer" is also recorded in Cologne. "The Masked Singer": Show returns from a break - there was a third Corona case in the team

Update 4:47 pm: In just under three and a half hours, the wait has finally come to an end and  "The Masked Singer" is returning from the forced break. The six remaining singing talents will compete in three duels for the favor of the audience to move on to the next round. For fans of the costume show, the guilty fever continues after two weeks of abstinence. Even though there is much speculation about the identities of the participants, these have so far remained hidden. But also in the studio you can work hard again. 

Ruth Moschner and Rea Garvey are supported today by Comedian Bülent Ceylan in the rate team. Ceylan is very knowledgeable about  “The Masked Singer” . Last season the comedian was still on stage in the costume of the angel. 

Cologne - The Masked Singer fans had to wait two weeks for  a new episode. Due to three Corona cases in the team, the ProSieben show had to pause. Now it's back, on April 14, 2020 at 8:15 p.m. ProSieben * will broadcast the fourth episode.

And of course there is one colleague at “The Masked Singer” with whom the video call is difficult: It is almost impossible to communicate with the chameleon , because the old man under the costumes does not check the technology. And then connection problems make communication difficult . Hopefully tonight's fourth live show is going better for him!
