Sophie Boissard is CEO of Korian, Europe's number one retirement home (3.6 billion euros in turnover). With 900 establishments in six European countries, his company is at the forefront of the coronavirus crisis.

LE FIGARO. - The Ehpad are paying a heavy price for the crisis. With 356 deaths out of 23,000 residents, is Korian particularly exposed to Covid?

Sophie BOISSARD. - We have been confronted for almost two months at the European level with an unprecedented epidemic crisis which affects the elderly and frail. And with regard to the Ehpad, the containment measures put in place to protect them from the beginning of March distance them from their families and heighten their concern.
