The death toll in the Corona epidemic in mainland Europe today crossed 100,000 patients and now stands at 100,131. The continent has 1,073,000 patients and diagnosed carriers.

While some countries on the continent experience a particular epidemic of the first wave of epidemics, other countries on the continent have a bit more infection and signs of distress are already visible among hospitals and medical staff. The virus, which arrived in Europe during November, erupted in a number of locations that nourished each other and almost all continental countries were affected by the disease at one level or another.

Are hesitant to quit - Italy

Italy, the European country that has experienced the most severe outbreak in terms of absolute death toll numbers, was one of the first countries to experience an outbreak and, at present, is most hesitant to declare relief measures in any closure. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced today that there is no apparent relief on the population's restrictions on movement. Italy lost more than 23,000 people in the epidemic and hospitals in the north of the country recorded unprecedented collapse.

Despite this, the death rate in the country has fallen by half since the peak of the epidemic and the rate of infection has dropped significantly. Even in the Italic government, there are those who believe the encouraging figures are a reason to start and ease the closure, which has been stifling the country's residents since the beginning of last month. "We must give our citizens more freedom of movement," Italian Deputy Health Minister Pierpaolo Saileri said today.

Plague and Denial - Russia

Throughout March, Russia has repeatedly stated that the corona cases in its territory are counted in dozens, despite reports by the state of hundreds of people dying of "unexplained pneumonia." Now even the official figures indicate a severe epidemic. Today, the Russian Ministry of Health stated that 6,060 people were infected with the virus last day, the largest number of diagnosed infections reported to date.

Givers are joined by reports from the state that ambulance queues have been spotted in front of course emergency rooms and that hospitals are refusing entry to patients in light condition. Those who continue to broadcast solid security are President Putin, who today said in an official statement from the Kremlin that: "Russian authorities are in complete control of the virus. With the help of God, everything will work out and Russia will continue to thrive."

Failure and Criticism - UK

The British government today admitted, after a long period of denial, a severe lack of protective equipment for the country's medical teams, Reuters reported. Health Minister Simon Harris announced today that the shipment of millions of units of protective gear planned to reach the country today from Turkey has been canceled and that the country is indeed in a serious shortage.

"The government's admission is another testament to the serious condition doctors and medical staff are in because of the government's ongoing failure," said Rob Harwood, head of the British Medical Association Advisory Committee. This is a harsh criticism from the professional level who has so far preferred to avoid open criticism of the government. One of the reasons for the growing criticism is the increase in the rate of infection in the country and the mortality rate which shows no signs of decline in the country. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to return to office next week, under renewed criticism of the ruling vacuum and lack of decision-making in his absence.

"The elderly paid the price" - Sweden

Sweden has recently changed your policy of dealing with the Corona epidemic in its territory, after a plethora of cases, especially in the country's nursing homes, made it clear to the Stockholm government that the "herd immunity" policy and leaving the vast majority of the economy open simply does not work.

In a comprehensive article in the British Guard, experts and senior citizens tell how the vulnerable population in the country has become most exposed to the virus. "What kills me is that we, the staff, bring the virus to them without knowing it. The government does not provide us with safeguards and no corona tests are available," she told the British newspaper working in a nursing home in Uppsala.

Lena Einhorn, a senior virologist and critic of government policy, said: "The government must admit it was a huge failure because they kept saying that their primary goal was to protect the elderly." They said the situation was unfortunate, that they were investigating the circumstances, but no responsibility was taken. "

"The numbers give us hope": Spain

Spain, the second-largest country of its dead in Europe, marks the smallest death toll since the epidemic peak about a month ago. State authorities have reported only 410 dead over the past 24 hours. The number of new infections is the lowest since March 16, despite a dramatic increase in the number of tests performed in the country.

"We regret and mourn every death in a sincere and profound way, but we note that Spain has seen a significant drop in the death rate from the Corona epidemic," Fernando Simon, the chief scientist for the epidemic of the Spanish government, said at a news conference. "This is the first time we've seen a death toll below 500, that number gives us hope."

"The first wave is probably over" - Ireland

One of the first countries in Europe, and the only one in Europe, to claim that the first wave of the Corona eruption in its territory is over is Ireland. In remarks yesterday, Irish Health Ministry Director-General Tony Hulhan said. The Irish Ministry of Health has begun to make far-reaching changes to public guidelines and studies in the country will probably be back in early May.

But despite tremendous progress, Health Minister Tahiri Simon Harris announced that until the vaccine was found, the gatherings were banned in large-scale pubs or events. "I don't see how people can go back to pubs and shows when this virus is still around and no cure or vaccine has been found for it," Harris said.
