Diagnostic booths are structures that have been adapted in vehicles but that allow the medical personnel who perform the test, such as the patient, to be protected without direct contact.

Once the test has been taken, according to the government, the area where the patient was will be disinfected to avoid eventual contagion between people.

The health authorities explained that the objective is to have 14 cabins, one for each department of the Central American country, to take as many samples as possible and isolate those that are positive in order to prevent them from transmitting the virus to other people.

According to the Ministry of Health, over the weekend more than a thousand samples were taken per day.
