Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated his country's readiness to cooperate with countries in the region with a view to ensuring regional security and combating the new Corona virus.
During a telephone conversation with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Rouhani stressed that there is no way but cooperation between regional countries to protect the security of the region, especially in such difficult circumstances imposed by the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
Rouhani said during the call that the world is living in harsh conditions today, "requiring some to reconsider past mistakes based on human conditions," noting at the same time that Iran has had a good experience in combating the Corona virus and that it is ready to transfer its expertise to friendly countries.
For his part, the Emir of Kuwait welcomed Iran's plan called "Hormuz peace plan" to provide security in the region and said that its countries live in difficult conditions and everyone should cooperate and work together to overcome it and cross from it.
