Johann "Hans" Schuhbauer passed away on April 11th. The funeral already took place in the closest family circle. On December 30, the "carpenter Hans", as he was also called, celebrated his 85th birthday in Unterweilbach.

Schuhbauer was born on December 30, 1934 and grew up in Arzbach with six siblings. He attended elementary school in Pellheim and learned the profession of carpenter. He worked for many construction companies in Munich and then switched to MAN.

He married Theresia and built a house in Unterweilbach, where he lived until his death. Four children are now mourning for their father. His wife Theresia preceded him in 2016.

"Hans" had to overcome some illnesses. But he kept getting up. His humor and will to survive helped him. Hans liked to laugh and loved socializing. So he sometimes sat at the regulars' table with a "half". In between there were sometimes “heart drops” - that is how Hans described a small schnapps. In addition to his family and his job, his entire passion was hunting.

Johann Schuhbauer was an original, his death is a great loss for family, friends and the local clubs. Klaus Rabl
