Haag / Landshut - A case that the police have been dealing with for more than a year has come to a tragic end: the 45-year-old Romanian woman who has been missing since April 9, 2019, who had lived in a workers' accommodation and suddenly disappeared without a trace has now been found dead on the banks of the Isar near Landshut . This was announced by the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North on Monday. The body autopsy, which has now been carried out, showed no signs of third party negligence. The investigation by Kripo Erding has therefore also been completed .
Missing woman found dead: even file number XY was unsuccessful
As previously reported, the woman had left the property just before her disappearance to make a phone call. Since then, there has been no trace of the 45-year-old. Police investigations into her whereabouts for almost a year were unsuccessful. Even a publication of the missing person's case on the television program file number XY (we reported) did not bring the breakthrough hoped for.
Now a stroller took care of that. It was reported that, on the afternoon of March 27, it discovered parts of a human body washed ashore on the banks of an Isar storage arm near Landshut. As the investigation later revealed, the body had been lying in the water for a long time. The result of a DNA test carried out by the criminal police confirmed that the dead woman was the Romanian woman who had disappeared a year ago.
