The chameleon was unmasked in the semi-finals of the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer”. A TV legend was in the costume.

Update from April 21: His name has been mentioned again and again since episode one - but very few people really wanted to believe it. The 84-year-old actor and entertainer  Dieter Hallervorden was  actually in a chameleon costume . 

Previously, it was speculated that a comedian would imitate the TV legend and that the chameleon might be TV chef Horst Lichter. But at the unveiling, both TV viewers and the rate team were flabbergasted. Because at almost 85 years old, few can dance so light-footed with a heavy costume and at the same time sing and spread a good mood. 

The Twitter users virtually bowed to Didi Hallervorden . Even the “first celebrity” from “The Masked Singer” was the fifth-placed TMS on the net.

Update of April 21 : The rumor that Didi Hallervorden is in the chameleon's costume holds on. But a new name is also being added: Horst Lichter . The speculations never stop. So who is the chameleon ? Comedian legend Didi Hallervorden and television chef Horst Lichter are still  favorites of the Facebook community . Now, however, other names are also being mentioned, such as  Klaus Eberhartinger , singer of the Austrian cult band Erste Allgemeine Ununicherung , or EAV  for short . It would fit because of the dialect, says a fan, another user writes: "Ding Dong is a song by EAV, he also won dancing stars, he fell off the stage on his farewell tour." It just remains exciting. Update from April 6th: This Tuesday there is no new episode of "The Masked Singer" either  . Instead, ProSieben shows a film in prime time.

Update of March 30, 2020: Because of two coronavirus infections in the "The Masked Singer" team, the ProSieben show is paused for two weeks. The next episode is scheduled to air on April 14, 2020, the actual final day of the popular rate show. On March 31, the first episode of the first season will run as a replacement .

The slim figure of the chameleon immediately catches the eye . The star has to be in good shape. The chameleon also appears in the posts for the ProSieben show "The Masked Singer" in very confident poses. Shortly after the photos were published, the first rumors appeared. For example, it is tapped on singer and presenter Ross Antony (45): "From the posture, it looks like Ross Antony."

Another fan speculation is the current jungle king Prince Damien (29). In Australia, the artist was extremely slim and always in extravagant poses.
