Cassation rejected Lázaro Báez's request for house arrest for the coronavirus

The Chamber of Cassation refused to grant the benefit of house arrest to the Santa Cruz businessman Lázaro Báez, who is judged by the "Money Route K" and has been in prison for four years.

Báez's defense had asked the domiciliary, emphasizing his health problems and his age, which places him in the "risk" group for the pandemic. Báez has been in prison since April 2016.

A week ago, the Federal Oral Court 4 had rejected the businessman's request.
