With the complete lack of mutual trust, the break in the January trade war is no longer a reality, because no one knows what trade relations will be. No one in the United States will reverse public perception that the epidemic started in China. The Chinese attitude, which it is clear that it will never authorize an investigation on its territory, aggravates the climate. She gives all the indications that she is lying about the origin of the virus, even if it is not necessarily the case. The Chinese may not know where exactly the epidemic started. But the opacity of the system heightens the suspicion.
