The protest actions were renewed in Beirut, Saida, Tripoli and some Lebanese regions today to demand the prosecution of the corrupt and the improvement of the living conditions.

Tripoli also witnessed a mass popular gathering in front of the bank’s branch, where army units took strict measures at the main entrance to protect it, while protesters in Baalbek organized a stop at the roundabout of Douris in the direction of the southern entrance to Baalbek to protest against the high dollar exchange rate and high prices, chanting slogans against banking policy.
The traffic control room reported that the highway was cut off by two protesters, and the Jiyeh road was cut in both directions and the traffic was cut at Abu Ali roundabout in Tripoli, north of Lebanon, towards Halba in order to protest the deteriorating living conditions and the security forces and the Lebanese army are working to open the closed roads.
Lebanon has been witnessing successive sit-ins since last October 17 in protest against economic and living conditions, the high price of the dollar, and the demand for the prosecution of corrupt people.
