A 22-year-old man apparently stole a bike in Starnberg on Wednesday, then threw it away on the A 952 and then walked on the hard shoulder.
Starnberg - The Starnberg police employed two bicycle thefts on Wednesday. Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. a locked and blocked Cube bicycle was stolen from Possenhofener Straße. The blue-green wheel has a value of around 3200 euros. The second theft ended much more spectacularly.
A 35-year-old man from Starnberg reported the theft of his bike from the north train station. Half an hour later, the traffic police inspection in Weilheim requested a vehicle to transport a bicycle from the A 952 motorway. When the police from Starnberg arrived there, it turned out that the bike had just been stolen.
The officials discovered the alleged thief, a 22-year-old man from Moldova, a kilometer further on the hard shoulder of the motorway towards Munich - he was on foot. The 22-year-old had been illegally leaving a Munich accommodation for several weeks. He was temporarily taken into custody and returned to Munich. He has to answer for theft, unauthorized stay in Germany and a violation of the Infection Protection Act.
