While the question of wearing a mask continues to cause tension, a new solution is available to the French. They will be able, from April 30, to obtain a reusable mask in their tobacco shop, according to information from the Parisian , confirmed in Figaro .

An initiative carried out in collaboration with the Secretary of State Agnès Pannier-Runacher, indicates, in a press release, the Confederation of tobacconists who "centralized and made available the offers of manufacturers in terms of adapted sanitary products" .
An online platform for sourcing
The 24,500 tobacconists in France can now stock up on a platform set up by the Confederation, says Le Parisien . These reusable textile 3-ply barrier masks, AFNOR certified and made in France, could be sold according to "a price envisaged at 5 euros", advances the Confederation which specifies however that no price has yet been fixed.
“Our territorial network is a force to meet the demand of the French who wish to protect themselves. The tobacconists have shown responsibility and exemplarity for over a month despite the risks and fears. We remain at the service of the French and the territories by being actors of the deconfinement ” , explains its national president, Philippe Coy.
The Prime Minister recently said that wearing a mask could be mandatory on public transportation. " Transport is one of the cases where the wearing of the mask may be compulsory from May 11, " he said.
