Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Farshinin confirmed today that Moscow supports the calls of the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for a "global truce" in conflict areas, provided that this does not affect the war against terrorist organizations.
"We fully support the United Nations Secretary-General's call for a global truce in regional conflict areas and as a permanent member of the Security Council we are ready to contribute to the implementation of this important initiative," Farsenin told Sputnik.
