The rice distribution operation began as a local Vietnamese initiative two weeks ago, but Israel is the first country to join the effort.
Israeli Ambassador to the State, Nadav Eshker, who participated in the food distribution said: "The donation represents the Israeli spirit - a spirit of guarantee and mutual assistance. It also symbolizes the friendship of the Israeli people with the Vietnamese people. We were hired. "
