Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 8 students from a branch of the "Suvorov" Military Institute were infected with the emerging corona virus.
The ministry said in a statement issued by the Novosti Agency that the injuries were recorded among students learning in the Institute's branch in Tver, which is located 180 km north of Moscow.
The statement pointed out that the injured students were isolated from the rest of the students and that their condition is stable and they do not suffer from any symptoms of the disease.
The statement indicated that the institute has switched to distance education since the beginning of this April.
