A kitchen knife. It is with this weapon that a young man of 29 years killed his mother, this Saturday morning, in the family apartment of Epinay-sous-Sénart (Essonne).

When the Brunoy police arrive shortly before noon, this 54-year-old woman has just been stabbed at least once in the chest. In cardiac arrest, she could not be resuscitated and died a few minutes later.

The son was out of treatment

"Her son, who suffers from psychiatric disorders, was out of treatment," said a police source. These two sisters, both adults, were also present in the apartment when their mother was stabbed. It was they who alerted the firefighters, who arrived shortly after the police on the scene.

The young man's arrest takes place at first in calm. But when leaving the apartment, he gets carried away and gives a whim to one of the police. An eight-day work stoppage was issued to this police officer.
