Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani stressed that the opposition of the United States of America to Iran's request to obtain a loan from the International Monetary Fund is a violation of international rules and norms.
He wrote in his account on Twitter today, "The other countries have two obligations: to cut cooperation with the violating state and to take the initiative to raise the illegal situation," noting that Europe, as usual, is satisfied with expressing regret.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdel Nasser Hamti, sent a letter last March to the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund, in which he announced that Iran, given its share in this fund, required a loan of $ 5 billion, but this request was met with an American refusal.
The International Monetary Fund, according to Kristalina Georgieva, said the fund's executive director gives $ 50 billion to the countries that suffer from Corona under the rapid financing plan.
