In 1918, Anna Del Valle recovered from the Spanish Influenza Disease, a deadly virus that knocked down tens of millions of spaces across the globe. Today, after 102 years, she overcame the Corona virus to the delight of her family in Ronda, Spain.

Del Valle was removed two weeks ago from the nursing home where she was staying after it was discovered that two workers at the place had fallen ill in Corona. She was transported to a hospital in the nearby town of Cadiz.

Her family had a week of anxiety and uncertainty as the vehicle that led the elderly woman was stoned as a result of a dispute between the town's residents and the police. A brief communication between the hospital and the family meant they did not know what happened to their 108-year-old relative, who was infected during the same bus ride in the Corona virus.

But despite the difficult and traumatic story, Anna has shown that she is made of too strong a substance for the virus. After a week of dedicated treatment from a small, regular team of doctors and nurses, she recovered from the disease.

Now, with the help of the nursing staff and an iron frame, Anna returns to follow her bride's hesitant steps, Pekui Sanchez says her mother-in-law is feeling well and thanked the dedicated staff who took care of her. The woman also said that Anna was rescued from the Spanish flu disease when she was a child, after being infected with it in an attempt to search for food on farms near her home. Del Valle, then six, fought for her life for many weeks but finally recovered.
