The death toll from the Corona virus around the world this evening (Saturday night) reached 200,837 people who died as a result of the disease. The number of infections is 2,876,660 people who were diagnosed as positive for the virus.

Of the dead, 119,000 deaths occurred on the European continent, 57,164 occurred in North America with the vast majority in the United States, 16,827 in the Asian continent including China where the virus first broke out, 5,641 in South America and 1,352 in the African continent. In all, around the world, 823,310 people have recovered from the virus.

Although the virus has so far mainly hit China, Europe and North America, experts fear that the epidemic's focus will now move to new places like South America and Africa. The African continent has seen a 43% jump in the number of corona cases in the past week as more and more countries gain access to virus testing. WHO experts estimate that hundreds of thousands could die on the continent, many of which suffer from a collapsing health system.

Another concern raised by the World Health Organization is the severe famine that will hit the continent due to a drastic increase in food prices that will put millions below the poverty line, especially in more growing continent countries, causing millions in the poorer countries to worsen.

Another focal point is where the plague of lifting a head begins in South America. Health experts in Brazil say that the number of people infected in the country is already over 200,000, with the official figures talking much less. The government of Brazil's President Javier Bolesnaro expresses a profound skepticism about the risks of the plague and today the country's government has ordered the restructuring of shopping malls and malls.

"There is no evidence that healers cannot become infected again"

The World Health Organization briefed reporters on Saturday where it issued a worrying statement that "there is no evidence that people who have recovered from the corona virus and developed antibodies are completely protected from further infection.

In addition, the organization warned world governments against issuing "immunity passports" or by their other name "transit certificates" to people who have been infected and recovered in Corona, as it cannot be guaranteed that they cannot be infected again after recovery. In fact, it can increase the chance of a wider spread of the virus and increase the number of people infected, because healers may ignore the guidelines for maintaining social remoteness and the most basic precautions.

"Many governments claim that antibody detection may be used as a basis for issuing permits that will allow people to travel from place to place or return to work, assuming they are protected from further infection," they said.

"Most studies in the world have shown that people who have recovered have developed antibodies to the corona virus. However, most of them have discovered a low amount of antibodies in the blood, which could imply that a strong immune system may be critical and affect the chances of recovery."
