Boris Johnson could relax containment rules before May 7

"Changes" could be made to the containment rules to allow businesses and schools to reopen while retaining the restrictions.


Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to announce relaxed containment rules as soon as he returns to Downing Street next week, the Telegraph reported on Sunday evening.

Johnson will resume work Monday after a week in hospital after being tested positive for coronavirus and two weeks of recovery at home.

According to the Telegraph , Boris Johnson discussed with his ministers " modifications " to be made to the containment rules in order to allow the reopening of businesses and schools while retaining the restrictions.

The coronavirus epidemic killed an additional 413 in 24 hours in hospitals in the UK, bringing the total to 20,732.
