Isaac Alarcón, MTY Borregos offensive lineman, signs as a free agent with Dallas Cowboys

The official NFL account in Spanish released the move. Isaac showed up at the International Pathway Program and was selected from there.


Isaac Alarcón García was chosen as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys, thanks to the NFL International program, where four League teams hire an additional foreigner for the 2020 practice squads. Isaac was an Under-19 university champion, in addition , represented Mexico at the U-19 World Championship in 2016.

Alarcón arrives from the Borregos ITESM Monterrey. There it developed as a right and left tackle. He lifted the national champion trophy in 2019 and was selected for Conadeip's star team at the XLVI Aztec Bowl held at the end of last year.

The NFL chose the NFC East to choose four players abroad. They will have to be held until the work on the training ground is completed. Afterward, they may be eligible for an international exemption in the practice squad, giving them the opportunity to be eligible for the 2020 season.
