The number of confirmed infections with the newly created Coronavirus around the world has exceeded 3 million, about 80 percent of them in Europe and the United States, according to a statistic prepared by Agence France-Presse.
The statistic, which is based on official data, showed that at least three million three thousand 344 people around the world have been infected with the virus since its appearance last December, and that 209,388 of them have died.
The number of injured people in Europe reached 139,3779, of whom 122,633 died, and in the United States 980,800 injured, 55,637 died.
It is noteworthy that this number reflects only part of the real numbers of the injured, as tests to detect injuries in a number of countries are limited to cases that require treatment in the hospital.
