A man was killed Friday night by several bullets in a district of the city.

According to the prosecution, "one of the two shooters could be identified", a 31-year-old man "known to the police", who was placed in police custody on Sunday morning.

Friday, the police of Sète were called in the district of Ile-de-Thau around 9:35 pm for shots. On the spot, they discovered, at the Avenue de Saint Exupéry, a BMW vehicle in the middle of the road with a person wounded by bullet in the driver's seat, specifies the parquet floor.

Despite the intervention of the emergency services, the victim, residing in Sète, aged 35 and "known to the police, in particular for acts relating to narcotics", died on the spot at around 10:30 p.m., he added.

The first observations made it possible to note the presence of several bullet holes (inlets and outlets), on the upper part of the body. The autopsy is to take place on Monday.
