US President Donald Trump said on Monday that China could have stopped the coronavirus before it spread around the world, and said its administration is carrying out a "serious investigation" into the origins of the epidemic. "We are not happy with China," he said during a daily White House press briefing on the coronavirus.

“We believe that (the virus) could have been stopped at the source. It could have been stopped quickly and it would not have spread all over the world, " added the American president.
